1930's Vintage Elgin Muncie bicycle motor

Description

Rare Original Vintage Muncie cycle motor from the 1930s, mounted on the front wheel of a bicycle. They were made in Muncie Indiana by Muncie Gear Works  as a package or complete with bicycle by Sears Roebuck. The same motor with a different flywheel cover was also sold as Elgin Cycle Motors. The motors have a Tillotson carburetor and are 2 cycle.The same company also made Neptune Outboard Motors. This motor is in excellent condition, turns over and has great compression. I had it sitting on my shelf for the last 50 years. I did not clean it up or detail it. I just copied the ad from the internet so one can visualize what the complete setup looks like.
