Here is an original 1980s vintage "Cycle" bicycle generator set which was removed from a 1980s Schwinn road bike. This is a cool original cool vintage bicycle accessory set.
It includes the headlight with lens, headlight mount, wiring, generator with taillight and everything shown! It installs easily with basic tools.
Fits any bike and would be appropriate for your Schwinn Continental, Letour, Racer, Speedster, Typhoon, Tiger, Corvette, Jaguar, Breeze, Hollywood, Stingray, B6, DX, Monark, Holiday, Hawthorne, Spaceliner, or most any bike. This would look cool on a Raleigh or English made 3-speed as well!
This one is tested and WORKS! "Period correct" items are always best on vintage bikes. Brand new stuff on an old bike always looks out of place. A low priced accessory that will make your bike more fun!
Could use a basic detailing.
It shows age but is a good "period correct" accessory for your vintage bicycle! It looks a little better in person than it appears in the pics! (camera seems to pick up every little thing) Some people really love the patina! Will look better with a good polishing.
