This wonderful painted clay skull stash box/jewelry box hails from Toluca, Mexico.  The top of the skull is a solid removable lid.  Fired, painted and glazed, then fired again.  This unique work of folk art measures 3" by 4" by 4.5" tall.  A great find!  P&H on this item in the US will be .95, special handling and insurance available upon request.
