I have collected Eagle Scout awards for years. I have always wanted to have a prototype of the first Eagle badge to put in my Eagle collection showcase. Even though this badge was never officially produced by BSA, I thought it would be appropriate to show others what the first thought was as recorded in the First Edition Handbook on Page 43. I had some extra ones made up as well if others wanted one for their collections or to give as a gift. I had a few of these made up in red white and blue. This is a great gift for the scouter who has everything. It is also a great gift for Eagle Scout courts of honor. Photocopy of the handbook page shows what the medal was supposed to look like.
