Four Knurled Surface Cryostat Microtome Chuck Specimen Holders – Three Sizes

This listing is for four,
knurled surface, Cryostat
microtome
chuck
specimen holders
in three different sizes.
I believe these are American Optical brand but they are unmarked.
The diameter of the shaft on all of these:
9.5mm
The diameter of the knurled surface:
One Small
diameter =
22mm
Two Medium diameter = 28.5mm
One Large diameter = 38mm
All sizes are
approximately
42.5mm tall and have a thickness of approximately 4.6mm at their flat base.
These are all unused and in as-new condition.
I found this group of objects at an estate sale of a scientist who worked on the
Manhattan Project
.
He appeared to be very much still involved in science, specifically microscopes in his later life.
