Description

This Flip Journal (or Envelope Journal) measures 8” x 6". The envelope pages are sturdy. There are several pages of dyed papers I made myself- imparting a delightfully crinkly texture to each. I included among the pages numerous pockets types of
ephemera
and tags. The cover has lace trim. Hours and lots of care went into this handcrafted creation. I have attached some BoHo Beads!!

Although they are all made basically the same way ...they are different in that some of the sari fibers are hand woven into yarn in India so the color variations and textures change. I have also have wrapped batik printed cloth (hand dyed in India as well) and ribbons, threads wires, and yarns around a fabric base. they are embellished with different types of beads and threads, charms and snippets of paper. No two are alike. They are so much fun to make! They can be made smaller for all types of jewelry as well.
