Mantua Artesania Latina Corel Mamoli Handmade Wooden Ship Model “Vasa” 1/60

Description

Length is 1170mm (46.06”) and height 1020mm (40.15”) and width 430mm (16.9"). 17th century Swedish warship.
The ship foundered after sailing about 1,300 m (1,400 yd) into its maiden voyage on August 10th 1628. It fell into obscurity after most of her valuable bronze cannon were salvaged in the 17th century until it was located again in the late 1950s in a busy shipping lane outside Stockholm harbor. The ship was built on the orders of the King of Sweden Gustavus Adolphus as part of the military expansion he initiated in a war with Poland-Lithuania (1621–1629).
This is a handmade kit by Mantua/Sergal. It took over 2 years to build this model and uncountable number of hours of work that I gladly took for fun.
