Nicho Niche Mexico Wooden Day of the Dead Personal Shrine Folk Art Hand Made 5"
This is a "nicho" Day of the Dead personal shrine that measures 5 1/4" tall x 4" x 1 3/8" in closed state. There are two doors on the front side that swing open on hinges to reveal the scene inside. This item can sit or hang on wall. Inside are various items...a row of skulls with white hair, Our Lady emblem in center, a praying boy (plastic), miniature food (cornflakes box and bunch of bananas, plastic), a vase of flowers (plastic), a whisky bottle (plastic "Calverts"), tin metal angel, plaster angel and plaster musicians on doors. The doors on the outside have silver tone metal thunderbirds with skulls in center. At the very top is another thunderbird with Our Lady metal inside the colorful bead decoration. The structure is wood and has a hand painted design all around. This is a pre-owned item.
