Description:
This is a new old stock right/passenger side rear fender body panel for 1940 Chevrolet passenger car applications. This fender is in good structural condition with no large dents, unintended bends, or rust damage. This fender has never been mounted or used on a car and was just removed from long time storage. The surface finish is done in the original period correct GM black factory paint/primer. There are two small imperfections/dings in the metal that are worth pointing out. These imperfections were likely caused by handling or during the many years this has been in storage. The final two pictures show a red circle outline each imperfection. This fender measures 56" in overall length, measured on the back side, lower mounting flange. I do have the matching left rear fender which I will be offering in a separate listing, check out my other items if interested. While not perfect, this is one of the nicer pieces of new old stock GM sheet metal I have seen in a long time.
