Here is the COOLEST and best idea for your bike! Here is a HARD TO FIND real deal SCHWINN rear carrier rack with accessory FOLDING BASKET!! This mounts on the rear of your bike above your rear wheel and is a great way to secure items to your bike. AS A HUGE BONUS this one includes a side by side rear CARRIER BASKET THAT FOLDS WHEN NOT IN USE! Talk about convenient!!! Keep your hands on the bars vs trying to unsafely carry something.
The rack is used and is approx 13" long (not including the seat mount. by 5 1/4" wide. End to end of the rack is approx The legs are approx 18" long. (I believe removed from a bike with 26" wheels)  The basket is approx 13" by 9" tall by 8" wide. There is a factory shim on the inside where it mounts to the seat post. (is approx 7/8" diameter) You may need to shim it more pending on what kind of bike you install this on!) Has a quick release included. This simply mounts to your seat post and tightens with the quick release. BE SURE TO COMPARE BEFORE YOU BUY TO BE SURE THIS WILL BE RIGHT FOR YOU!
You can open them for lots of room or keep them folded flat against your bike for riding or storage. Gives you lots of room to carry stuff and keep your hands safely on the handlebars! Be sure to compare before you bid to be sure this will be right for your bike!
This is the BEST idea anyone ever had for a basket! It conveniently folds up and out of the way for storage without having to take the time to remove and store your baskets by themselves. They are VERY hard to find so don't miss out! Mounts to your bike in no time. Carry books, groceries or whatever you can think of. You WILL LOVE THIS! It is so nice to have your bike take up less space when storing it too! These RARELY come along and this one is NICE! When you are not using it, it folds up nicely and is out of the way! There is a tab on the top of each side which firmly holds the folded basket in place. Works great for storage or transport vs removing it! YOU WILL LOVE THIS!

This would be a "period correct" item that would look right at home on a Schwinn Breeze, Hollywood, Varsity, Continental, American, Typhoon, Collegiate, Panther, Jaguar, or any vintage bike made in the 1960s-1970s.  This one starts low with ABSOLUTELY NO RESERVE so bid early and don't miss out!
