SCHWINN STING-RAY KRATE 16" HURET SPEEDO HUB DRIVE BICYCLE BIKE SPEEDOMETER

This is a clean used example (with added New Old Stock parts) of
everything
you need for the southern end of your 16" Schwinn Krate Sting-Ray speedometer installation: a freshly re-lubed vintage 16" Schwinn speedometer drive by Huret, Schwinn part number 08 468, for Schwinn Krates or other bikes with 16" front wheels, complete with NOS white dust cap, an original NOS bushing and washer kit, NOS strap and a clean NOS foam dust seal.
This drive hub is a short-arm design, and will fit the slots in the right side of an Atom drum brake if so equipped. Its drive ratio is 1:1.2. This drive is compatible with the chrome Schwinn Approved Huret speedometers and drive cables (not included; see my other auctions for examples of those), as well as Huret-branded bicycle speedometers.
I'm also including an
original
New Old Stock accessory hardware kit consisting of:
One 5/16" axle bushing
(silver), for Krates with standard front axles and coaster or caliper brakes
One 3/8" axle bushing
(black), for Krates with Atom drum front brakes
Three 13/16" installation washers,
to be used to clear either the inner face of the front fork or the axle cone nut, as needed
One flexible plastic drive cable tie strap
One foam dust ring seal
This drive is in clean used condition and full working order.
I've cleaned the hub and repacked it with fresh grease, and it turns smoothly.
The two drive arms have a 3 1/8" (80mm) span, each extending 1 9/16" from the center of the axle hole.
The axle hole in the center is 7/16" diameter

am also including a free scanned reprint of an original instruction sheet to help you get it all installed.
NOTES:
This is not for quick-release front hubs.
This is only for bicycles with bolt-on front axles.
This is not for Stewart-Warner speedometers.
This is a Huret speedometer part.
This auction is for the drive hub and hardware kit only.
If you do not see it in the photos, it is not included!
