Here is an original late 1960s-early 1970s "BULLET" bike headlight! These were a cool accessory for bikes like Schwinn Krate, (Orange, Apple, Lemon Peeler, Pea Picker, Cotton Picker, Grey Ghost) Stingray, Fastback, Manta Ray, Corvette, Panther, Typhoon etc. These are very hard to find in any condition these days!
I see more "Pumpkin" lights than I see these! I have seen this style in the Schwinn catalogs. I BELIEVE it is Schwinn but could be another accessory manufacturer. (see pics and be your own judge before you bid)
If you know bikes, you know these are HARD to find! It even has the original lens in place. Original "period correct" accessories are so cool and make your bike look awesome! This is the perfect "cherry on the top" for your favorite bike!
You rarely see these in any condition these days! A nice "cherry on the top" type accessory item for your favorite bike!
Please note, It was in a bag that said "Good" We installed 1 "D-Cell" battery and it did nothing. I put no further effort into it than that. It is fairly clean on the inside! (see pics) The chrome shows age and is in fair condition for its age. It would look right at home on an unrestored rider quality bike. This one works but is not a mint perfect show quality light. (see pics, I took many and have nothing to hide!)
This one starts low with ABSOLUTELY NO RESERVE so bid early and dont miss out! Sold as is because it is used.
