I was digging in my stash and found this. Here is a vintage HURET Speedometer head which fits most any vintage Schwinn bike including Schwinn Schwinn Stingray, Deluxe Stingray, Typhoon, Fair Lady, Letour, Paramount, Continental, Breeze, Varsity, Suburban, Racer, Corvette, Jaguar, Typhoon, Stingray, etc.  Huret made all the "Schwinn Approved" speedometers for Schwinn. This one is COOL having the white face! The Schwinn style cables and drives connect to this and are correct for it.
This one comes exactly as shown and is not bad for its age! (see pics) It shows 3091 miles on the odometer and goes up to 40 MPH.  Will look better with a basic detailing. (has age and patina)  I LOVE the "white face" gauge! Its a clean look.
The majority of the vintage Huret/Schwinn bike speedoometers I have seen are FROZEN! I hooked up a cable to it and spun it. This one is TESTED AND WORKS!!!
"Period Correct" items are always best on a vintage bike. A new item on a vintage bike looks out of place. These are so cool and getting VERY hard to find these days! It will look nice on many bikes of the era! ENJOY!
Great for display or install on a bike. The head shown in the pics is the exact one you will receive.
Sold as is because it is used. The case/housing shows age, has patina, and dots if you look close. It will look right at home on your vintage bicycle. Would look nicer with a basic polishing. (see pics)
