Vtg Chain Bicycle Lock Made Western Germany 2 Keys Rare Bike Security Old Enamel

What a great vintage bike lock!  The reverse is stamped “Made in Western Germany” and the lock has a very nice ornate front and includes the two original keys.  Light rust on the chain, lock (nickel plated looking area) and keys, we have not cleaned or polished this in any way.  The lock is in great working condition, snaps open quickly and pushes closed nice and tight, is used with light wear, but we’re sure you will be pleased.  We were thinking this was a cheaper lock, but after looking over, it is quite a nice little lock heavier than the cheaper locks of it’s time.  The metal looks like black enamelware with a nickel plated looking front plate and brass key hole.  Chain measures about 36” long.  Each link has two loops and measure 1 5/8” x 1/2” wide.  The two keys are matching, one has slightly more rust and wear than the other.  The lock itself measures 2 15/16” x 1 7/16” x 3/4” thick and both the lock & chain weigh 11 oz. together.  No damage to the lock, chain or keys, just light rust.  This bicycle lock will get lots of looks!  We have rolled the lock & chain in bubble wrap and will ship in a padded envelope to keep this at 1st class shipping rates.

Also I would like to mention that when we say we will ship your package within 1 or 2 days, that is what really happens. We do not print a shipping label (and mark as shipped) and let the package hang around and we do not send the package to a shipping station where it sits for a day or two, when we mark your package as shipped, it is on the way.
